This week in Arkansas, weather will run the gamut of possibilities, including high temps and wind with fire danger, to a cold front and storms with hail possible. Although we had some rain over the weekend, Saline County and other parts of Arkansas are still under a burn ban.

Active weather is expected across Arkansas through much of this week. Above normal temperatures and gusty winds will increase wildfire danger for most locations Monday through Wednesday.
By mid-week a strong storm system and cold front will approach from the west which will lead to beneficial rainfall across the state.
As the cold front begins to move into the state Wednesday evening and Wednesday night a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible.
Rain will be exiting toward the southeast on Thursday (Halloween), but some parts of eastern Arkansas may have rain lingering during the evening hours.
