I know the phrase. You’ll want to say it and you’ll want me to say it. I just can’t. People said the phrase from a Saturday Night Live skit so many times last year. Here’s a gif so I don’t have to type the words and hear it in my head.
So what do we call it? Hoodie weather doesn’t rhyme. Anyway, here’s the forecast, but don’t go thinking summer is really over…
This forecast is for a large part of Arkansas. If you have any plants or crops, you should prepare for frost to freezing conditions.
Monday through Saturday, the passage of a strong cold front on Sunday will bring significantly drier air to the region by Tuesday morning. Gusty winds associated with the front will keep the threat for fire danger high through mid-week.
Much colder air will also move into the region in the wake of the aforementioned front, and portions of northern Arkansas are likely to see a freeze on Tuesday morning. Much colder temperatures will be seen by Wednesday morning, with an area-wide freeze/frost possible.
