Tropical Storm Francine will bring isolated to scattered showers on Wednesday, spreading across much of the southern and eastern half of the state throughout the day. Look for highs near 70 in Saline County, but cooler to the east and warmer to the west.

Updates to the precipitation forecast include a decrease in overall rainfall across most locations in the state. The path of Francine continues to shift slightly to the east resulting in lower rainfall amounts. Still, locally heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding will be possible.
Winds gusting to 30-35 mph are possible, mainly across eastern Arkansas, Thursday through Thursday night. The remnants of Tropical Storm Francine will continue to move north across the Mississippi Valley region. Continued localized heavy rainfall and flash flooding will be possible through Friday.
