The National Weather Service in Little Rock released a statement Tuesday evening with concern about storms developing late tonight into Wednesday morning. The latest guidance suggests widespread showers and thunderstorms developing during the overnight hours from western into central Arkansas, and continuing into the day Thursday.
What’s Coming…
-Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through Thursday.
-The heaviest rainfall is expected over western into central Arkansas.
-With record rains over the last month, and excessive rainfall over the last week alone, any rainfall is going to cause runoff issues.
-Any heavy rainfall could lead to significant, widespread, and life-threatening flash flooding.
