Weather Service says expect rain throughout Tuesday; Highs in the 80s

Expect rain chances to continue through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. The highest rain chances will be in the southeast.

Rainfall through Friday will consist of widespread values of a half inch to 1 inch of rainfall between Monday afternoon and Friday night. A few locations will see a tad less than that, but a few locations could see a bit more with as much as 1 to 2+ inches across southern Arkansas. Lower values will typically be seen across the northwest, whereas the highest rainfall totals will be common across southern Arkansas.

Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will range from the low to upper 80s across the state.
