If you were listening to the scanner, you might have heard about damage to an area on Mann Lane, off Germania in south Alexander. There were four fire departments dispatched to the scene.
The following is information sent from Lt. Jeff Silk to Sheriff Rodney Wright this morning:
- Looks like straight line wind damage. Area is small, only about 400 yards. One minor injury (cut). One double wide trailer off foundation. Nothing major other than road blockage. We (SCSO) are fine. Sgt. Gilliam has a side by side en route and has an extra body today (Harris is 10-8). SEU will be in service soon but can call 10-8 early if Sgt Gilliam deems it necessary. County road crew s are en route with chain saws to clear roads. As of right now, everything is under control. We are not getting any calls, similar in nature, anywhere else in the county.
- BLUF:
Incident is under control.
Damage is medium.
Injuries are few and minor.
Man power is sufficient.
This is all the information we have at this time.
