The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for a large part of Arkansas.
On Tuesday, shower and thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast through tonight. The initial round will primarily occur later this morning and through the afternoon hours. The second will be another complex of storms that is forecast to move into Arkansas from the northwest later tonight. Some strong and severe storms will be possible, with damaging winds being the main concern. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
From Wednesday through Monday, expect unsettled weather through much of the work week, as a series of upper-level impulses will interact with a front to produce chances of showers and thunderstorms on a daily basis. While widespread organized severe weather is not anticipated, isolated stronger storms cannot be ruled out, and daily heavy rainfall could lead to localized flash flooding.
It appears a pattern shift this coming weekend will result in drier weather conditions returning to the region.
