THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LITTLE ROCK HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 1220 AM FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS:
- NORTHEASTERN GRANT COUNTY
- SOUTHWESTERN LONOKE COUNTY
- SOUTHEASTERN PULASKI COUNTY
- SOUTHEASTERN SALINE COUNTY
SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE: LITTLE ROCK, NORTH LITTLE ROCK, SHANNON HILLS, WRIGHTSVILLE, KEO, IRONTON, SWEET HOME, EAST END, ORION, ESTES, SCOTT, TOLTEC MOUNDS STATE PARK, CANE CREEK, BASELINE, BAUXITE, BAUCUM, WOODSON, HIGGINS, HENSLEY AND PARKERS-IRON SPRINGS.
AT 1021 PM, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS ONGOING OR EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS, URBAN AREAS, HIGHWAYS, STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER
DRAINAGE AND LOW LYING AREAS.

AT 838 PM, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS ONGOING OR EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.
