The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Flood Watch through Wednesday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m.
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible in portions of central and eastern Arkansas. This includes Central Arkansas counties – Garland, Lonoke, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline, as well as Monroe County in Eastern Arkansas.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Several additional rounds of heavy rainfall are expected during this watch period. http://www.weather.gov/safety/
