THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 126 UNTIL 4 PM WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5TH WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF TORNADO WATCH 121. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS – CONWAY FAULKNER GARLAND LONOKE PERRY PRAIRIE PULASKI SALINE WHITE.
IN EASTERN ARKANSAS – JACKSON LAWRENCE RANDOLPH WOODRUFF.
IN NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS – BAXTER CLEBURNE FULTON INDEPENDENCE IZARD SHARP STONE VAN BUREN.
THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ASH FLAT, ATTICA, AUGUSTA, BATESVILLE, BEEBE, BENTON, BRYANT, CABOT, CALICO ROCK, CAVE CITY, CHEROKEE VILLAGE, CLINTON, CONWAY, COTTON PLANT, DE VALLS BLUFF, DES ARC, FAIRFIELD BAY, HARDY, HAZEN, HEBER SPRINGS, HORSESHOE BEND, HOT SPRINGS, HOXIE, LITTLE ROCK, LONOKE, MAMMOTH SPRING, MCCRORY, MELBOURNE, MORRILTON, MOUNTAIN HOME, MOUNTAIN VIEW, NEWPORT, NORTH LITTLE ROCK, OXFORD, PERRYVILLE, POCAHONTAS, SEARCY, AND WALNUT RIDGE.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas….
Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop tonight. These storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
The potential for strong and severe thunderstorms will continue Wednesday as a cold front pushes across the state. All modes of severe weather will be possible along and ahead of the front, with the threat diminishing from the west as the day progresses.
