Sub-freezing temps coming overnight Monday into Tuesday

A Freeze Watch is in effect from late Monday night through 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19th, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. They say we can likely expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees.

This watch is for portions of Central, Eastern, Southeast, Southwest and Western Arkansas.

This weather event could cause frost and freeze conditions and could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
