Fool’s Spring is no joke – Freeze Warning issued until Tuesday

When people say there’s a “fool’s spring” and then winter again, it’s closer to truth than joke. There is currently a Freeze Warning, issued from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock.

Look for sub freezing temperatures as low as 30° possible. This forecast is for portions of Central, Eastern, Southeast, Southwest and Western Arkansas.

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage outdoor plumbing.

 



The following counties will be affected: Faulkner; Perry; Garland; Saline; Pulaski; Lonoke; Prairie; Monroe; Hot Spring; Grant; Jefferson; Arkansas; Polk County Lower Elevations; Central and Eastern Montgomery County; Northern Polk County Higher Elevations; Northern Montgomery County Higher Elevations; Southeast Polk County Higher Elevations; Southwest Montgomery County Higher Elevations.
