Scroll down for the 7-day forecast! ?️⛅⛈️?☔
You can already see the rain for Thursday. We’ll get a break from bad hairdos on Friday, then stormy weather comes back on Saturday and Sunday.
Thursday afternoon high temperatures will depend greatly on the location of a slowly lifting warm front across the state. In northern and central Arkansas, temperatures will struggle to reach the middle 50’s to low 60’s. However, across southern Arkansas temperatures will peak into the low 60’s to low 70’s.
A new storm system is moving into Arkansas on Saturday. This will be followed by a cold front that will move through the state during the afternoon/evening. At that point, expect another round of unsettled weather, with a few strong or severe storms possible. The main hazards look to be hail and damaging winds.
A few severe thunderstorms are possible from eastern Oklahoma into western, central and southern Arkansas Saturday evening/night. Large hail appears to be the main threat.
Rainfall through Sunday will near an additional 1 inch of rainfall through the end of the weekend across most of the state. However, central into east-central Arkansas could see rainfall totals approach values of 2 inches with a possible few locations eclipsing the 3 inch mark, especially near the Mississippi River border at West Memphis southward toward Dewitt.
