This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.
Sunday:
Cold conditions will develop across the region in thethe even. Wind chill values will fall below zero across much of northern sections late tonight. Low temp 23F.
Monday – Saturday:
Much below average temperatures are in the forecast to begin the week. Wind chill index values Monday and Tuesday mornings will be in the teens across central Arkansas.
Rapid warming will occur toward the end of the week, with mild
temperatures by the weekend. A storm system will drag a cold front into the region on Saturday, with thunderstorms possible.
River flooding will continue in the coming days along the Black,
Cache, lower White, and Ouachita Rivers.

Lonoke County,
Faulkner County,
Conway County,
Saline County,
Central Yell County,
Pulaski County,
Southern Pope County.
* Until 445 AM CST Tuesday.
* At 737 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that numerous areas were experiencing flooding across the warned area. Through Monday evening, rainfall totals of two to more than four inches have been observed across much of the area.
Numerous small creeks and streams are well out of their banks
causing issues for area motorists. Additional rainfall totals of up to one inch may occur which would only worsen conditions.

Instructions:
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
