Here is the updated winter weather briefing issued by the National Weather Service in Little Rock. Forecast snowfall amounts have been increased ↑↑ over much of eastern Arkansas and forecast snowfall amounts have been decreased ↓↓ across northwestern Arkansas. In Saline County, it means we could still get 6 inches of snow.
In addition to the winter storm through Monday, dangerous cold remains likely during the first half of the week. There are also minor adjustments to forecast temperature and wind chill values that yield a slightly colder forecast overall.
Confidence remains high for several more inches of snow on Tuesday through Thursday over most if not all the area. See the daily forecast below.
