Showers and thunderstorms will be likely throughout the day Wednesday into tonight across Arkansas, especially across central, the southern flank, and the eastern flank of Arkansas. The primary threat with the strongest storms will be damaging winds and large hail. A brief tornado or two will also be possible.
Some locally heavy rainfall could also be seen, which may lead to an isolated flash flood threat. Expect the chances for thunderstorms to end from northwest to southeast during the late afternoon and evening hours Wednesday, with the threat for hazardous weather becoming low Wednesday night.
