Saline County has a chance of snow in the next few days

Predictions are not exactly for a blizzard, and we aren’t likely to have difficulty driving in it, but there is a good chance that we will see some milk and bread shortage, a.k.a., ❄️ snow in Saline County as early as Saturday night and through Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. If we do end up with snow in central arkansas, it will likely only be about a half inch. See more details below, along with the daily forecast through the next week.

An approaching storm system will bring widespread snow from west Texas to Louisiana from Saturday through Sunday. By Sunday night through Monday morning, snow is expected to develop across roughly the southern half of Arkansas. Snowfall amounts will generally be less than one inch, with some chance for locally higher amounts, approaching 2 inches near the Louisiana border. Should this system trend farther south, only southern Arkansas may experience snowfall. If the system goes farther north, snow potential will increase across central Arkansas.
