You’ll see some familiar faces from Saline County in these winning teams. The Arkansas Green Diamonds (AROK) recently showcased their basketball skills at the Mississippi and Arkansas Senior Olympics Basketball Tournament. They competed in three different age division from 50-64.
The 55’s team brought home the Bronze medal in Mississippi, while the 60’s team achieved the Silver medal.
In Arkansas, the 50’s teams emerged as champions, winning the Gold medal, and the 55’s team received the Silver medal.
All three teams have qualified for the Nationals Senior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa in 2025. AROK will participate again in the Oklahoma National qualifier this coming September.
