Construction to widen Interstate 30 to six lanes in Saline County requires two ramp closures during three nights at the Interstate 30 East/Highway 70 interchange (Exit 111).
Weather permitting, crews will close the I-30 East ramp to Hwy. 70 and the Hwy. 70 ramp to I-30 East during overnight hours beginning Friday night, November 18. Crews are performing work at the I-30 East bridge above the ramps, which will require full ramp closures on the following nights:
- Fri, Nov 18, 11:59 p.m. – Sat, Nov 19, 6 a.m.
- Sat, Nov 19, 11 p.m. – Sun, Nov 20, 9 a.m.
- Sun, Nov 20, 9 p.m. – Mon, Nov 21, 5 a.m.
I-30 East detour traffic will take Exit 114 and I-30 West to access Hwy. 70. Hwy. 70 detour traffic will take I-30 West and Exit 106 to access I-30 East. See attached detour map NR 22-294-A for additional information.
In addition, Pawnee Drive below I-30 will be closed to thru traffic.
The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
