Y’all are going to kill me, but if there was no news, you’d have find me a new job. I know, I know… I just wrote an article about ARDOT closing a section of Highway 229 for 3 days. Well to continue the theme, here we are again with closures on the other end of that section of 229. Take heart. It’s not going to be during the day, and it’s not going to be both lanes.
What are they doing? Crews representing the Arkansas Department of Transportation will be closing lanes overnight on Highway 229 in Benton. If the weather works out, the plan is for crews to conduct full-depth shoulder reconstruction and paving operations.
