There was severe weather and very heavy rain Monday afternoon and night, according to a report from National Weather Service in Little Rock, reports regarding the damage and remnants of tropical storm Beryl. Through early Tuesday morning, radar estimated 2-4+ inch rainfall totals from west central into central and southwest Arkansas.
There were isolated tornadoes in central/southern Arkansas, mainly in Columbia, Dallas, and Jefferson Counties. Flash flooding also occurred in central sections of the state, including the Little Rock (Pulaski Co) and Bryant (Saline Co) areas, given rainfall rates over four inches per hour at times.

The remnants of Beryl were approaching central Arkansas early this morning. Beryl will exit the state to the north/east by early afternoon. Heavy rain is still possible across the northern half of the state before Beryl departs. An isolated tornado is possible, but severe weather is more likely north/east of Arkansas this afternoon/evening.
