The public is invited to a hearing concerning the location and design for a widening project in Bryant.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), with support from ARDOT consultant Garver, will conduct a Location and Design Public Hearing Tuesday, June 18 from 4-7 p.m. to present and discuss the design plans and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed widening of Highway 5 between N. Reynolds Road (Highway 183) and N. Alexander Road (Pulaski County Line) in Saline County.

The in-person hearing will be held at the First Baptist Church of Bryant (Fellowship Hall), 6715 Hwy. 5, Bryant, AR 72022. This is an “open house” meeting with no formal presentations.
The design plans and EA are available for public review and comment, online and in-person, beginning Sunday, May 19 until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the following locations:
