ARDOT crews will close five highway ramps during overnight hours 9 p.m. Thursday, February 22 until 5 a.m. Friday, February 23 in Saline County, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT).
All of the ramps are either coming on or off of Interstate 30, in the eastbound direction. The intersections are at Highway 70 (Exit 111), Highway 67 (Exit 114), and South Street (Exit 116).
Weather permitting, crews will close these ramps to allow crews to shift main lane traffic onto new concrete pavement. Traffic will follow signed detours to navigate around the ramp closures. Accommodations will be made to allow emergency vehicles to access closed ramps.

Five I-30 eastbound ramps will be closed during overnight hours beginning February 22:
- I-30 on-ramp at Highway 70 (Exit 111). Highway 70 traffic will detour to I-30 westbound Exit 106.
- On- and off-ramps at Highway 67 (Exit 114). Exiting traffic will detour to I-30 eastbound Exit 117. On-ramp traffic will detour to I-30 westbound Exit 106.
- On- and off-ramps at South Street (Exit 116). Exiting traffic will detour to I-30 eastbound Exit 117. On-ramp local traffic will use adjacent streets to navigate around the closure.
All I-30 westbound on- and off-ramps will remain open during this work.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
