Ansley Lucas, of Benton High School, is one of 20 students from 12 high schools in Arkansas chosen to attend a M*A*S*H program this summer through UAMS at their Northwest campus in Fayetteville. M*A*S*H Medical Applications of Science and Health is a two-week summer camp that introduces high school students to health careers.
According to Ansley’s mother, Chaska Richardson, “Ansley had to apply and be recommended by two teachers and her counselor. She plans on becoming a pediatric cardiologist or cardiologist. She hopes this program and the job shadowing that it offers helps her decide.”
