In its first meeting of the year the newly-formed Alexander City Council approved the final version of the 2016 budget, scheduled a workshop meeting to discuss the proposed 2017 budget and approved a resolution establishing who is authorized to sign checks, all within 25 minutes. The short special meeting was held Thursday evening, January 5.
