The City of Alexander announced on Tuesday there are several projects currently in the works. Read all the details below.
The City is creating an extension of the walking track as well as performing bank restoration of Crooked Creek. Both are in Alexander City Park.
There will be a community garden coming soon on the grounds of the former Human Development Center (HDC) on Highway 111 and the City is looking for volunteers.
Other items in progress are a Community Fishing Pond, Playground Upgrades, New LED Street Lights, Brownfield Project at HDC, and Amnesty Court Month.
The City wants to remind citizens about Food Bank Tuesdays, Spanish to English classes, and the Library Box at City Hall.
