Addy and Deputy McClain at Harmony Grove Schools
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office sent a BOLO (be on the lookout) to MySaline this morning – for the sweetest friendship between a little girl and a School Resource Officer.
Deputy McClain, who serves the students and staff at Harmony Grove Elementary School, said, “This little girl has a sibling at the elementary. Every morning her dad has to roll the window down so she can wave at me. Well she is now my best friend!”
Addy is the little girl’s name. She gifted Deputy McClain a “Chase Pup” (stuffed police dog) and McClain has it sitting in her patrol car to help her at the school.
According to Captain Parsons, Deputy McClain does a great job at the Harmony Grove Schools.
“She has also made me a string bracelet,” said McClain. “She is a reminder of why we do what we do.”
