It’s going to be live music, big fun, food and drinks, and basically a big party and ball drop for New Year’s Eve in downtown Benton.
Access Control Devices, Inc. (ACDI) is partnering once again with the City of Benton for its second annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop. It’s set for Sunday night, December 31st at the ACDI headquarters. The address is 403 North Main Street in Benton. Everett Buick-GMC is the presenting sponsor for the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.
This free event begins at 7:30 p.m. There’s going to be a lot going on. They have feature live music planned and a mechanical bull. There will also be a large kids area, with a rock climbing wall, bungee jump, and bouncy house.
Ten food trucks are coming. There will also be a beer and wine truck with items available for purchase throughout the evening. A percentage of all food and drink sales will go to Bright Futures Benton, a community initiative within the Benton School District that streamlines school, community, human service, and business resources to quickly meet basic needs and create new opportunities for students so they can succeed in school and beyond.

Following a stellar debut in 2022, Jettway Performance Bands will provide music beginning at 7:45 p.m. The Zac Dunlap Band headlining at 10:30 p.m.
Crown Entertainment will provide additional music and light shows between sets. Expect more live music for the minutes leading up to midnight, a thrilling light show. Right before it turns over to 2024, participate in the ball countdown and drop, and take in the New Year’s fireworks.
Police officers will be on patrol in and around the event to ensure safety as people come and go from the ACDI campus. No outside food or beverages will be permitted, including coolers.
