A Benton man pleaded guilty to the charge of fourth-degree sexual assault of a teen in Clark County Circuit Court this week. According to Joel Phelpson of Arkadelphian.com, 27-year-old Aaron Church went before Judge Blake Batson to enter the plea. A juvenile female accused Church of unwelcome advances and sexually assaulting her at DeGray Lake in 2020.

Church was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 150 hours of community service, a fine of just over $2,000 and must register as a sex offender.
