According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call on Monday afternoon for an unresponsive person in a vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the lot at East End Elementary School. Deputies responded to the scene, along with Criminal Investigation Department detectives. They were able to enter the vehicle and found a person was deceased.

This is an ongoing death investigation at this time. The name of the deceased person has not been released.
School was not in session Monday, due to inclement weather. The school is located at 21801 Arch St, Arch Street Pike. It’s part of Sheridan Schools, but in Saline County. We will update with any developments.
