The Saline County Progressives (SCP) is hosting a rally event on April 30th from 4-7 p.m. at the Bauxite Community Center. The event will include food, live music, special speakers, a book signing, and informational booths.
Organizers say to come prepared to experience inspirational guest speakers representing Progressive Arkansas Women PAC, AR Hunger Relief Alliance, Arkansas Coalition for Reproductive Justice, the National Organization for Women, Indivisible Little Rock and Central Arkansas, and Be the Change Alliance AR.
Entertainment brought to you by the legendary Big John Miller, to be accompanied by one of Austin TX finest guitar/bass/mandolin players David Valley, and David Hall, extraordinary local blues guitarist. Suzi Parker, the award-winning Arkansas-based political and cultural journalist will be there as well for a book signing.
Enjoy food from Taco Mexicano food truck. Admission to this event is free and BYOB.
