Makerspace Open Hours

Toddler Time
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

This storytime has fun group activities for the very young! Toddlers and the adults who love them will make new friends as they play and learn. We play with a parachute, sing songs, learn finger plays, play games, dance, make music and share picture books. After our informal circle time we get out the toys and play together. For ages 1 – 3 years.
Sensory Storytime
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

This program is specifically designed for children with autism, sensory processing disorder, ADHD or who havedifficultly sitting still, but we welcome anyone who wants to participate! Email Ms. Dana at [email protected] with any questions, or to get a library social story.

This semester for homeschool hour our theme will be around the world! Join us as we learn about countries from all around the globe with art, music, STEAM activities, problem solving, team building, and more. This will be a fun, supplemental event for ages 4 – 18. The age groups will be divided up as follows: 4 – 5, 6 – 8, 9 – 12, and 13 – 18.
Anime Club

Each month we will watch an episode of a different anime and discuss our favorite parts! Is your favorite part of anime the art styles? Bring your favorite pencil and draw while we watch. Do you love reading the mangas that the anime is based on? We will have those out for you to read or check out. If you just want to watch anime and talk while you eat some Pocky, you can do that too!

Each month we will have a puppet show and craft project or activity. Materials will be provided! And before you go,don’t forget to sign up for a library card and browse the Bookmobile. The puppet show will start at 11:00 AM. The Bookmobile will arrive at 11:30 AM and stay till noon.
