The scholarship is for $3,000 per year, payable as $1,500 per semester. It is renewable for up to four years provided the student maintains a 2.50 grade point average on a minimum of twelve semester hours at an accredited college, university, junior college, trade or vocational school or other educational organization.
The scholarship recipient will be chosen based on certain criteria. The student must be a graduate of a high school in Saline County, Arkansas; the student has a financial need; the student possesses proven leadership ability; the student has good moral character; the student has a minimum of 2.75 cumulative grade point average; the student has an ACT score of 18 or above or equivalent SAT score.
