Look for a blood moon eclipse this weekend. Well, it is the very end of the weekend, or the very beginning of the week – depending on how you look at it.
Late Sunday night, May 15, 2022, at around 9:30 p.m., the Moon will enter the Earth’s penumbra. That’s the outside edge of the shadow.
Next, around 10:25 p.m. the Moon will begin pass through the umbra and appear a dark reddish color. This will last through nearly 1:00 a.m.
