Charlsey Ruth (Jones) Isom, 81, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away April 23, 2022. Charlsey was born April 17, 1941 to the late Ruth Olivia (Morris) Jones and Walter Frank Jones.
Charlsey is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Frank Jones and Ruth Olivia (Morris) Jones; sisters: Carol Baker, Dee Salazar, and Mary Gaither; nephews, Bobby Salazar and Barry Jones; and niece, Robin Salazar.
Charlsey loved fishing and being outdoors. She was always on the right side of husband no matter what and were always together. Charlsey was always on the go and looked forward to doing anything outside with her family.
Charlsey is survived by her loving husband, Bob Isom; daughter, Dewanna (Tim) Fleming of Little Rock, AR; son, Mark Wheeler of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren: Chris Snyder of Conway, AR, Brad (Abby) Snyder of Roseville MN, Amanda Wheeler of Bryant, AR, Bridget (Adrian) Wheeler of Hot Springs, AR, and Justin (Skylar Wilson) Wheeler of Hot Springs, AR; great-grandchildren: Jackson Balkman of Bryant, AR, Alexis Wheeler of Hot Springs, AR, Maddie Esparza of Hot Springs, AR, Adriana Esparza of Hot Springs, AR, Hudson Wheeler of Hot Springs, AR, and Grace Olivia Synder of Roseville, MN; brothers, Oscar (Marisue) Jones of El Paso, AR, and Walter (Vickie) Jones of Nashville, TN; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that will all miss her dearly.
Visitation and informal service will be held Tuesday, April 26, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.

Marilyn Elizabeth Schick, 88, of Benton, Arkansas passed away April 23, 2022. She was born March 24,1934 in Benton, Arkansas to W.C. and Faye Lewis. Marilyn graduated from Benton High School in 1952, serving as homecoming queen her senior year. After graduating from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1955, she had a long career as a registered nurse. Over 20 years of her nursing career was spent working for the Arkansas Public Health Department, retiring as the administrator of the Saline County Health Department. She married the love of her life, Edward Schick in 1956 and moved to Indiana until returning to Benton in 1969. Community service was a large part of her life, even after retiring from nursing. She participated in establishing CJCOHN in Benton and served on the board for many years. She received many awards for her voluntary service to CJOHN, Habitat for Humanity and in 2010 and 2011 she was awarded the Governor’s Volunteer Excellence Award for outstanding service of over 750 hours. She liked to say that she needed to stay active and was a “people person”. She was also very active in her church, First Methodist Church of Benton, serving in many volunteer capacities but her favorite was helping in the church kitchen and coordinating service to members. She is described by those close to her as strong and generous; a person who loved her community and helping others.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 66 years, Edward; her daughter, Allison Scott (George) of Springdale, AR; granddaughters: Micah Halpin (Chris) of Fayetteville, AR and Kara Ozbun (Blane) of Prairie Grove, AR; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah Halpin and Henry Halpin of Fayetteville, AR.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Market Street, Benton, AR. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to CJCOHN (Churches Joint Council on Human Needs, 103 E. Elm St., Benton, AR, First Methodist Church Grieving Care Fund, or Relay for Life.

Kathy Lynn Moore, 74, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2022. She was born in Long Beach, California on March 21, 1948. Kathy was the daughter of the late, Dorothy Eleanor Small Young and James Alton Young, of Bryant, Arkansas.
Kathy is survived by her son, Christopher James Moore, and his wife, Cindy Moore of Conway, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Brooklynn Moore of Bryant, Arkansas.
Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 A.M with the visitation at 10:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, Arkansas.
Ronald “Ronnie” Bland Polston, 72, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born to the late, Leonard Stanley and Viola Opal Polston, on Thursday, August 4, 1949, in Newport, Arkansas. Ronald was such a people person—he was such a likable guy. The ladies loved him, and he loved them! He was definitely known to be a ladies’ man. Even though he was mischievous and had no problem taking other people’s food when they weren’t looking, he was very kindhearted and so sweet. He always enjoyed having some chocolate and a cold Pepsi in hand. He also never missed his smoke break— whether you came to visit him during that time or not. He was such a good man and will be truly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two half brothers, Harold and Delbert Polston.
He is survived by two brothers, Gary Polston (Phylis) and Clay Polston (Ann); niece, Sheila Meek; nephew, Mark Polston; along with other family from Newport, Arkansas and friend who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
