Betty Rose (Welch) Liemke, 87, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away February 1, 2022. Betty was born December 23, 1934 to the late Essie (Fellers) and Thomas Welch.
Betty owned a print shop for over forty years. She was raised in Morrilton and was the middle child of eleven. Betty loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty was a great person and loved taking care of people. She had open arms for everyone, never judged anyone, and was always loving and caring.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: J.T., Raymond, Bill, and Wayne; and sister, Fay.
Betty is survived by her son, Tony Liemke; daughter, Brenda Villasenor and husband, Arthur; two grandchildren: Saun and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren: Mia and Eva; two sisters: Sue and Frances Ng; three brothers: Ed Welch, Jim Welch, and Don Welch; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held February 15, at 2:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.

Ellen Lavine Lasiter, age 69 of Benton Passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2022. She was born September 19, 1952 in Little Rock. Ellen was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Betty Harwell Lasiter, sister, Betty Dean Hasiter.
Survivors, sisters, Mary Whitfield and Annette Hogan.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday before the services.

Horace E. Wilson, 94 of Bryant, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022. Horace was born on September 7, 1927 near Malvern, Arkansas to the late Thomas Henry and Laura Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 65 years, Inez, brothers, Cliff, Gene and Lloyd; sisters, Hazel, Helen, Wanda, Joy and Billie Jean.
Horace was a tree surgeon, butcher and truck driver during his working years. He loved to fish and hunt, particularly with his life-long friend, Stan Rushin and family. He enjoyed family holidays and travels throughout the United States. Horace was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church.
He leaves the cherished memory of sons, David (Becky) Wilson of Bryant, Larry (Rebecca) Wilson of Quitman and Mark (Liz) Wilson of Quitman; grandchildren, Jamie (Jared) Deason of Little Rock, Chris (Michelle) DuJardin of Florida, Janna (Colton) Leonard of Benton, Marcus and Alanah Wilson of Quitman, sisters, Bonnie, Shirlene, Louise and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with Chapel services following visitation. There will be a private Burial held at Pine Crest Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers and staff of Favor Home Care and Kindred Hospice, as well as many caring neighbors. A special thanks to his church family and many friends for their support.
