Frances Louise Browning, 83 of Benton, went to be with her Savior on the morning of June 30, 2021. She was born on June 1, 1938 in Benton to the late Henry Earl and Lille Bell Gilbert Smith. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jacob McClintic. She is survived by her precious husband of 63 years, John Browning, Sr., four children, Pam Browning, Dee (Dale) Schimmel, Janet (Dennis) McClintic and John Jr., (Jennifer) Browning, five grandchildren, Brixey (David, Jr.) Hendrix, Matthew (Morgan) McClintic, Bailey (Ross) Smith, Brittany (Ben) Cash and Hannah Browning, four great grandchildren, Eden Hendrix and Whitlee, Emberlee and Berklee Cash. Frances was a faithful member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church for over 35 years. She had a loving spirit and serving heart. Frances will be remembered by all as a comforting friend, faithful wife, mother and loving MeMe. Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6th at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with John Owen and Dennis McClintic officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery. Anthony D. “Johnny” Bishop, age 64 of Bryant, passed from this life on June 29, 2021 at his home in Bryant. He was born on January 26, 1957 in Benton, the son of Roy Bishop and Venita Bishop. Johnny was a 1975 graduate of Bryant High School. He was preceded in death by his father. In his youth, Johnny and his father competed in horseshows through out Central Arkansas, Johnny in Junior Western Pleasure and his father in Senior Western Pleasure. They both won at many horseshows throughout the years. In high school, Johnny was a member of the Bryant High School Hornet Tennis Team, advancing to state competitions. Johnny enjoyed waterskiing, fishing, motorcycling, and grilling outdoors. He will be remembered by countless friends for his generosity. Johnny is survived by his mother, wife, Dee Dee; daughter, Chelsea Ward, stepdaughters, Amanda Vance and Jessica Boyles; sister, Roya Bishop Lloyd and seven grandchildren. Larry Steven Lancaster, 75, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on June 28, 2021. Larry was born January 11, 1946 in Benton, AR to the late Marvin Lancaster and Pauline (Taylor) Lancaster. Larry enjoyed gardening and even grew a watermelon once. After babying it all summer long, he finally ate it and was beyond disappointed that it wasn’t any good. Larry enjoyed watching westerns. He was very reliant and no matter how he was actually doing he would always respond with “great”. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Herbert and Sherman “Coon”. Larry is survived by three sisters: Janie and husband J.A (Tex), Floyce, and Paula; brother: Bill; and a host of nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly. Donald Scribner, 74, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away June 27, 2021. Donald was born in Mounds, Oklahoma on March 12, 1947 to the lake L.J. Scribner and Loreen (Champion) Scribner. Donald grew up in Big Sandy, Tennessee. He laid flooring for several years then spent over ten years as a truck driver. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Donald loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them Donald was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Scribner; parents; three sisters; and two brothers. Donald is survived by three daughters: Cindy Yates and husband Rick of Little Rock, Missy Kellebrew of Sheridan, and Kristy Mullins and husband John of Little Rock; son; Lenny Yates of Little Rock; nine grandchildren: Jeremy Holmes, Jeremy Mullins, Shannon Holms, Jessica Baker, Dakota Mullins, Rikki Jo Mullins, Will Yates, Chris Yates, and Kim Reap; 14 great-grandchildren; sister: Barbara Nash of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews that will all miss him greatly.
