Severe weather is back in the forecast for Arkansas, beginning late Wednesday evening. Isolated thunderstorms are anticipated, with the primary hazard being damaging hail at potentially golf ball size and winds of 60-80 mph.

Thursday, an intense upper level storm system will approach the southern central US, and a greater potential for more widespread severe thunderstorms exists, particularly for central and eastern Arkansas during the early afternoon to late evening hours. All severe hazards will be possible, including damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes.
