Saline River – A few walleye have been caught especially on brooder minnows. But have had a few reports of one or two being caught off of the 4″ lizards. Catfish and bass have been both doing good off of brooder minnows as well. Bream have been doing good off of crickets as well as red worms too.
Sunset Lake – The catfish have been doing excellent especially off of fresh chicken livers. It was stocked Sept 21st, last Monday. One of my customers have been catching some nice crappie there too off of crappie minnows. Bass have been fair off of spinner baits minnows. Bream good on crickets.
Lake Norrell – Crappie have been good on crappie minnows and Kalin’s jigs. Bream have slowed down some what but still a few off of crickets. Bass have been caught off of plastics and brooder minnows. Catfish been fair on bait shrimp , night crawlers and bass minnows.
Bishop Park Ponds – Catfish been reported doing good off of fresh chicken livers and stink baits. A few smaller crappie off of the crappie minnows. Bass have been hitting bass & brooder minnows, also spinner & buzz baits. A few bream off of the red worms.
Lake Winona – Catfish been good off of black salty’s, bait shrimp and bass minnows. Crappie been hitting blue & white crappie jigs. Bass been good off minnows, plastics and zing tails. Bream fair on crickets and red worms.
