Saline River – Bass have been doing good on brooder minnows and plastics especially 4″ lizards. One of my customers have actually caught a few walleye on the lizards. Crappie have done well on the #6 crappie minnows in the deeper holes. Bream have done very well on crickets. Catfish have been being caught off of night crawlers, black salty’s, brooders and chicken livers.
Sunset Lake – Well as far as if the lake is open or not is unclear. But I still have lots of people going there and telling me that they are catching fish. Fresh chicken livers seem to be working good on the catfish. Bream been going after the crickets. And bass have been hitting on the brooder minnows and the black salty’s.
Lake Norrell – Crappie were doing good on #6 crappie minnows and some crappie jigs. Bass been good on #12 bass minnows and zingtails. Bream good on crickets. Catfish been being caught off of black salty’s and cut bait.
Bishop Park Ponds – Bream were doing good on crickets and red worms. Bass have been doing well off of #12 bass minows and brooder minnows, spinner & buzz baits too. Crappie been fair on #6 crappie minnows and also so kalin jigs. Catfish really good at night on night crawlers & chicken livers.
Lake Winona – Crappie been doing good on #12 bass minnows. Bass been hitting plastics, crank baits and minnows. Catfish been good on black salty’s, chicken livers and night crawlers. Bream fair on crickets and red worms.
