Saline River – Catfish & bass have both been doing great on black saltys and goldfish. Bream have been hitting on crickets. Crappie being report caught off of #6 crappie minnows in the deeper holes.
Sunset Lake – Catfish seem to still being doing great. Fresh chicken livers, bass minnows, night crawlers and stink baits have been doing well. Crappie been slow on #6 crappie minnows. Bream good on crickets and red worms, superworms. Bass fair on bass minnows and black saltys. Also on plastic worms.
Lake Norrell – Crappie doing good at night on #6 crappie minows. Bass been good on bass minnows and plastic worms. Catfish been good off of black saltys, cut baits, shad & skipjack and redworms and fresh chicken livers. Bream doing great on crickets drop shot them.
Bishop Park Ponds – Here too the catfish have been doing great off of fresh chicken livers and also wildcat chicken liver stink bait. Bream good on crickets and superworms. Bass good off of bass minnows and black saltys, and zingtails and chatterbaits. Crappie slow but small in size off of #6 crappie minnows, and crappie jigs.
Lake Winona – Crappie been fair off of $6 crappie minnows and Kalin’s grubs. Bream good on crickets. Bass have been hitting crank baits and bass minnows. Catfish been good off of bait shrimp, fresh chicken livers and night crawlers.
