Ludie Clyde Kidd Pitts, 87 of Bauxite, passed away on October 14, 2019. She was born on July 31, 1932 in Saline County to the late Lude “Dago” and Rintha Clyde Ramsey Kidd. Ludie graduated from Bauxite High School in 1951. She was retired from Southwestern Bell after 32 years of service. Ludie was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Gene Pitts and sister, Dorothy Lee Kidd Davenport. Ludie is survived by her extended family, Jeff (Annie) Willis and their children, Bethany, Dustin(Tiffany) and Austin Willis, step children, Danny L. Donna Lynn Tarver, age 59, of Benton, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was born March 31, 1960 in Columbus, Georgia. Donna worked for Walmart for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Anita Tarver and a step-son, Jeremy Holmes. Glenn Paul Brooks, age 83, of Benton, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019. He was born February 2, 1936 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Glenn graduated from Bauxite High School and then served in the U. S. Army. He retired from Reynolds Metals and was a member of Northside Church of Christ. Garld Wayne Rickford, age 74, of Benton, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019. He was born September 12, 1945 in Brownsville, Texas. Garld was a self-employed building contractor and a member of the Fishers of Men. He grew up in the Avilla Lutheran Church and later became a member of Old Union Baptist Church. Garld was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Eula Rickford and two brothers, Clifford Rickford (Pat) and Harrold Rickford. Freddy graduated from Benton High School in 1977 and worked as tile setter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Gayle Bailey and father, Jimmy Roe Poe. John Troy Griffis “JT” gained his wings and took flight to heaven on October 22, 2019 with his family by his side. Bonnie Jo Nalley, 88 of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Bonnie was born on November 24, 1930 in Commerce, Texas to the late Clyde Jones and Iona Valentine Troboy Radican. David Lee (D.L.) Bennett, 93, of Hot Springs Village, passed away October 14, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1926, in Rector, Arkansas to the late Willie Gregg and Ruth Elizabeth (Cagle) Bennett. David is succeeded by his sister Faye Bennett of Portland, Oregon, by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers Russell and Glenn Bennett and his wife, Helen Bennett. He will be laid to rest by Helen’s side in CedarVale Cemetery He was a Certified Public Accountant who always worked hard to obtain the best results for his clients, many of whom became his close friends. His home, which looked over a lake, gave him much pleasure. He was a long time faithful and active member of Barcelona Road Baptist Church. Marian Louise Luck Hindman was born February 28, 1932, to Herman E. and Edith Asp Luck, in Watertown, South Dakota, and passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the age of 87, in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Marian married Robert W. “Bud” Hindman on October 1, 1950. They raised their family in Watertown and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary shortly before Bud died in 2015. She was Mother to four children: Laurel Hindman Shoecraft (Chuck), Susan Hindman Dornbusch, Oren S. Hindman (Vicki), and Mark W. Hindman (Robin); she was known as Maga to nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was a cherished younger sister to Hermione Luck Aaker Fuss and Howard Luck. Marian loved to bake bread, “blonde brownies,” and special cookies and desserts for her family. She wrote cards and letters to her loved ones all her life, leaving unique records and fond memories for all of us. She had a great talent for knitting; she crafted beautiful sweaters and hats, cozy afghans, and witty knitted toys for everyone in her family. Mother made extraordinary mementoes, experiences, and memories in a nurturing, supportive, and loving family, for all of us. We have all raised our families with her example in mind, and we will always remember her with great love. Marian’s children want to thank our cousin Lynn Aaker of Hot Springs Village, who has provided assistance and loving support to all of us for so many years. We also want to thank the caregivers of Abundant Life Care Home and Dierksen Memorial Hospice, both of Hot Springs Village, for their generous and skillful care of Mother and their kindness to our family over the last four years. Keith M. Wilkins, Jr. from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas was born July 9, 1942; died October 16, 2019 Keith was a graduate of East High School, Memphis, Tennessee, where he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. Thomas G. Bornaschella from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas was born December 14, 1951 and died October 19, 2019. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Adult and Teen Challenge of Arkansas and Owensville Baptist Church food pantry and the Salvation Army.
