The Bryant School District had several wins at the robotics tournament called VEX IQ Challenge at Henderson State University on Saturday, Feb 16, 2019. All of Bryant’s schools listed below had at least one team qualify to advance to State Tournament to be held on March 7 at Arkansas Tech at Tucker Coliseum, 1604 North Coliseum Drive in Russellville.
- Collegeville Elementary:
The CES Robotics Teams earned The Excellence Award, the highest award presented in the Vex IQ programs. The recipient of this award is a team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotic program. This team excels in many areas and is a shining example of dedication, devotion, hard work, and teamwork. - Davis Elementary:
The 4th Grade team won Design Award;
5th grade team ranked in the top 3 in Team Challenge.
Both teams qualified for the state championship at Ark Tech on 3/7/19. - Springhill Elementary:
After Team Challenge rounds, one team was in 2nd place
and one team was in 4th place. - Bryant Middle:
The BMS team (Purple HEAT) placed 3rd overall.
