AFTERNOON UPDATE Jan 6, 2025
On Monday morning, MySaline told you that the National Weather Service in Little Rock is forecasting the possibility of some type of winter weather across the state of Arkansas. They didn’t seem terribly certain about precipitation, but as we get closer to Thursday, weather experts are beginning to agree that central and south Arkansas could get an inch of snow, and as much as 4 inches or more in some areas.
The bad news is that freezing rain is also possible across southern Arkansas on Thursday and Friday.
Scroll down for the 7-day extended forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
