ARDOT announced that several ramp closures will be necessary along Interstate 30.

Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County requires various ramp closures at the I-30/Highway 70 interchange and the I-30/Highway 67/229 interchange from Monday, December 2, through Monday, December 9.
I-30 east ramp to Highway 70
Weather permitting, the closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly Monday night, December 2, through Wednesday morning, December 4, to allow crews to conduct paving and painting operations on the ramp.

- I-30 east to Highway 70 detour. Traffic will continue on I-30 east, take Exit 114, return to I-30 west using the underpass, and take Exit 111 to access Highway 70.Â

- Highway 70 to I-30 east detour. Traffic will take the on-ramp to I-30 west, take Exit 106, and return to I-30 east using the overpass.

- I-30 east to Highway 67 detour. Traffic will continue on I-30 east, take Exit 116, return to I-30 west using the overpass, and take Exit 114 to access Highway 67/229.
Accommodations will be made to allow emergency vehicles to access closed ramps.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116).
