The City of Benton has a vacancy for a Council Member to serve in Ward 4, Position 2. This position will come open due to Council Member Shane Knight taking a job in another city and moving outside the Ward.
The position term will be appointed by obtaining a majority vote of the remaining 9 Council Members.

This term extends from January 1, 2025 until December 31, 2028. Compensation is $15,053 annually. The deadline to respond is noon, Monday, December 16, 2024.
