Mister Rogers Sweater Drive
For the entire month of November, The Saline County Library will collect winter clothing at all branches. Each library branch will have a donation box set up to accept the following items:
- sweaters
- vests
- cardigans
- winter coats
Clean out your closet and donate gently used clothes. Please make sure they’re tidy and clean. All items collected will be donated to the Bright Futures nonprofit organization. See the branch locations below.
Warm Wishes
From November 4th through the rest of winter, the library will have free hats, scarves, gloves, socks, jackets, and other winter gear available to those in need – no questions asked. Look for the Warm Wishes Window in Benton and East End branches and the holiday tree set up in Bryant to pick up what you need.
OR, if you have some cold weather gear that you don’t use anymore, consider donating at any of the library branches. Please only donate clean usable items.
