4 young people from Salline County were recently honored by The EMpact One Foundation for outstanding service within their communities in coordination with award sponsor Bryant Family Pharmacy!
Solee Wilons, Rylin Nguyen, Anya Crone, and Bella Crowe are all students from Saline County schools who were nominated by friends, peers, and family members for their outstanding accomplishments and community service through their various schools, organizations, and social groups. The EMpact One Foundation believes celebrating the service of young people in our community and encouraging these continued contributions so that young people learn the importance of giving back and philanthropy.

Miss Rylin Nguyen
Rylin is a 5th grade student at Harmony Grove and has an incredibly giving heart. She is kind and loving and she’s always willing to serve others in any way possible. She is an Ambassador for Lisowe’s lights and helps them out with providing night lights for foster children. She also works with her cheer gyms cheer abilities team inspire! Rylin’s teachers at school always comment on how kind she is to the kids who need a little extra help and will go out of her way to help them! Her friends say she’s outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to bullying.
Miss Solee Wilons
Solee is a 5th grade student at Harmony Grove and has a great passion for helping others. This year she volunteered with Empire’s Cheer Abilities Team, she is an active ambassador with Lisowe’s Lights, and raised $500 to match Rebel Athletics $500 donation to The Boys&Girls Club of America. Solee is active within the community while maintaining great grades at school and competing on an elite cheer team. She believes it doesn’t matter how old you are, you can still impact others. One word to describe her is Committed
Miss Anya Crone
Anya is in the 10th grade at Harmony Grove and always has a kind smile and a nice word for everyone she meets. She volunteers through the Hospital and with local Youth; she is always trying to encourage younger girls to believe in themselves and not let their anxiety or depression get in the way of happiness.
She truly believes Matthew 7:12 “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” She is very aware of mental health wellness and the toll that it takes on kids and families. She says all the time that mental wellness starts in early childhood. Anya wants to go to college and get a degree as a Pediatric Therapist. Anya is Empathetic listening, kind, funny, non-judgmental, and genuine.
Miss Bella Crowe
Bella is a senior at Benton High School and has been a passionate American Heart Association volunteer for the past three years. She has supported advocate recruitment events, fundraising events, spoken to community organizations about their mission and encouraged her peers to get involved.
A priority for Bella, has been promoting access to nutritious foods in her community by creating Beyond Fruit Carts for all Benton elementary schools where kids in need can always find fresh fruit to fuel their body for free!
She was nominated by the American Heart Association and selected by the White House as one of only two teens to attend the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health where she was a voice for her generation on this very issue. Bella is passionate and hardworking; she is committed to tasks and always completes them on time and with a positive attitude.
