In an effort to streamline the jury duty process and enhance convenience, jurors summoned for duty can now use a QR code provided on their summons to submit their answers.
Traditionally, all jurors must complete a jury questionnaire to determine their qualifications for service. With this new system, jurors can now quickly and easily submit their responses using their smartphones.
“This new process allows our jurors to be able to answer their questions by simply using their smartphones with a couple of clicks of a button. This will save the jurors valuable time and give them the assurance their questionnaires are submitted to the courts. This process will also save the county time and money on processing juror questionnaires,” said Saline County Circuit Clerk Myka Bono Sample.
The Saline County Circuit Clerk’s Office is confident that this innovative approach will not only improve the experience for the jurors, but also result in significant time and cost savings for the county.
