Benton native Reagan Jones plans to seek a seat on the Saline County Quorum Court. He is running as a Republican. His full announcement follows.
Republican Reagan Jones, has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace, District 4, which covers portions of Alexander, Avilla, Paron, and eastern Saline County.
“I am a young conservative who believes in the next generation,” stated Jones. “I want to set Saline County up with the best future possible. This starts with the community itself. I want to continue ensuring our elections are safe and reputable, keep our children safe, and bring strong, conservative values back to Saline County.
“The issues that arise don’t stop at the borders of District 4, but continue throughout Saline County. I will fight for everyone.”
Reagan was raised in Saline County since the age of six and knows where to begin governing, with the people. He believes that holding strong, conservative values start at the smallest level of government, and that it is time for a younger generation of leadership.
Reagan is a graduate of Benton High School, where he was a member of the Teenage Republicans. After high school, he attended the University of Central Arkansas where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems. In college, he was a member of the College Republicans, Business in Technology Club, and was the Freshman Vice-President of his class. Reagan and his wife, Brittney, now live in Alexander.
As part of his announcement, Reagan said, “I believe protecting conservative values starts at the smallest level of local government. I want to be the best solution to help our next generation flourish.”
